We would like to give away our timeshare at the Tahoe Beach and Ski Club. The management company is Alderwood Group.

Maintenance fees are $827 and have been paid for 2021. There is an option to pay monthly, quarterly, or annually.

It is a points facility: 40,000 points a year.

We used to use this timeshare annually but just haven't been able to use it for the past 15 years.

We will pay for all closing costs and transfer fees.

What were the real estate taxes for the last 5 years. Our family is interested, would want to know the $$ difference between a TS ownership at Lake Tahoe on the California side or is it favorable on the Nevada side of the Lake. Would any other Fellow Lake Tahoe TUG owners share their input of taxes paid.

I own in Washoe County (north Tahoe - NV side). This timeshare is nearest Douglas County (south Tahoe - NV side). Douglas County taxes are almost always going to be lower than Washoe County and CA property taxes - I say generally, because there are different rules for reassessment so YMMV...

But the fast summary is that it isn't really going to be materially different (CA vs NV) on a $827 mf timeshare -- at least as of now as assessment rules are subject to new legislation.

Btw, In which resort do you own, and what is your preferred season(s) there are Lake Tahoe?
We’ve never been and are looking forward to a new getaway destination .
