i have a for hit sweetwater at kauai for aug, 3-10 2013, I really need aug4-11-2013
should I pass this place up or take it?

Sweetwater is one of the three management groups at Alii Kai Resort in Princeville.

I have no personal experience with Sweetwater so can't give you any guidance.

Check the reviews. We like Alii Kai Resort.

I checked the reviews on tug,not much there.
 
ust stayed at the Sweetwater Alii Kai

I rated it a 3,5 The other timeshare there is much nicer an 8 or 9. We could not even get toilet paper,The units need stripped down to the studs and completely redone.
Princevillewas gorgeous but a bit rainy and the time spent int hese units was not the best. Noisy also.

What unit did you stay in?
 
I've never stayed at a unit managed by Sweetwater but own at NaPali Kauai and at Alii Kai (managed by Grand Pacific)

The Alii Kai units managed by Grand Pacific are excellent.:clap:
The NaPali Kauai at Alii Kai units are not as nice as the Grand Pacific units.
Looks like the Sweetwater units at Alii Kai are at the bottom of the list.

Outside they all look the same, share the same pool, same hot tub, same grills, etc.

Stayed in unit # 10c

Believe the comment on the three different managed timeshares is accurate. Grand Pacific is just starting a remodel and the model on display is spectacular. About $150,000 per unit and included new electric and plumbing. Maintenance fees are several hundred higher but you get what you pay for.

Toilet paper included

Good point Sterling. You get what you pay for and the Sweetwater units have much lower maintenance fees.
