Has anyone been to this resort recently - past 2 years? Going there for vacation this summer. Will have 2 teenagers in tow. Wondering if there will be enough for them to do or if they will be bored to tears. Any help/insite is appreciated.

There is a nice 18 hole golf course on site, a pool, the resort has a large private dock, and the largest lake in Alabama is at your back door. There is a place called chimney rock where people climb up cliffs and jump from heights of up to 70 feet. It is fun to watch but I wouldn't personally jump from 70 foot cliffs into the water. The water is crystal clear. The fishing is good.

If you bring a boat or rent a boat for the week (you can rent pontoon boats by the hour, day, or week) it is a great place to spend the week. If you mainly swim in the lake in front of the resort and don't play golf the kids could get bored. It is a beautiful area.
