Streamside at Vail-Aspen

I have a 1 bedroom on hold at Streamside at Vail in the Aspen building for Christmas week. I checked the reviews but had a hard time distinguishing between comments on the Aspen and the other buildings. If anyone can help me with regard to the overall condition of the Aspen building and its location relative to the ski area I would really appreciate it.

Streamside Location

There are five buildings at Streamside at Vail. They are all in the same location. Streamside is located just to the South of the West Vail exit. It is about 2 miles from Vail's Lion's Head ski area base. The resort has a free shuttle that runs about every 15 minutes to the base.

The resort is about 1 mile from two grocery stores and other various shops and restaurants.

There is also a free Vail Valley bus that runs walking distance from Streamside to Lion's Head, and all the way into Vail Village, where many of the fancy shops and restaurants are located.

West Vail is also about 5 miles East of Avon (Beaver Creek Ski Area), and 10 miles East of Edwards. Both have additional restaurants, shopping and theaters.

I haven't been in the Aspen building, but Evergreen was very nice, and they all seem to be similar, but are run by separate management companies.

Thank you for the information. We have decided to take the exchange. It is likely we could not get anything better for that week so the skiers are happy, which makes me happy.
