Yesterday I received an email from MVC in which the subject line says to "Explore Options to Enhance Your Upcoming Stay" and the preview that follows mentions a 4 day 3 night Myrtle Beach stay. Well, I don't have one of those... When I open the email, it has no mention of Myrtle Beach etc but does describe the general nature of things at a resort I booked (in Colorado) for April. Have they gone wacky? Not sure how or if to deal with this, my account does not show any upcoming MVC stays that would have triggered this. And the Colorado booking was made months ago.

Anyone else had some random emails? My s.o. thinks it's spam. It think it is yet another IT snafu.

What email address did it come from? That’s the way to tell if it’s spam.

Occam's Razor. The simplest answer is usually correct. MVC IT sucks.

I got one of those Explore Options to Enhance Your Upcoming Vacation emails too. It listed my home resort, but I don't have any "upcoming" stays there until next year. It listed Know Before You Go details, Resort Amenities, and some COVID policies. I found it strange and just assumed Marriott is having some wonky issues and sending out emails by mistake, as they have done in the past. But it's definitely not spam.

I got the same thing - it also said Myrtle Beach and my first thought was MVCI had screwed up my reservation again because my upcoming reservation is in Florida - not Myrtle Beach. There was something else strange about it but otherwise it was quite obvious it was for my upcoming trip. Maybe they use a template and are supposed to plug in the resort name but left it at Myrtle Beach? Who knows - there have been so many screwy things with MVCI as of late - quality control seems a bit off. Not sure why you would get it if you have nothing scheduled though?

We did not received this email and we are going to Williamsburg in December.

Oh wow! So I bet there are some very confused people out there who are not Tuggers - at least we can compare and share issues. We are visiting another resort in a few weeks, but not the April MVC that was mentioned. Hey, at least they have the state correct!! Ugh. I think I will leave it alone and let the chips fall. It wasn't asking for any preferences yet, I think that still should be in the works.

Or, maybe not!! We will take what we get I suppose.

What kind of cat do you have? I have a couple Birmans and they look similar to the cat in your photo. Birmans and Ragdolls look similar. In your photo, it is hard to tell if they are one of these. Birman’s chins are all one color while the chin of a Ragdoll has some white on the bottom. In you photo, I see a colored chin.

This is not my cat! I have two Siamese that lack the soulful appearance of this beauty, although they are wonderful. You are probably correct in your analysis.
