Strange AC offer for Florida Club- off season weeks.

I logged into my II account to see if there was an AC offer for my Florida Club Platinum unit and this is what I found.

"Take an extra week's vacation, affordably! If your check-in date is between April 21, 2016 and December 31, 2016, just deposit this week to be eligible for a bonus Resort Accommodations Certificate.

If you confirm your exchange now, to remain eligible for this bonus certificate you must choose either a Vacation Exchange or a ShortStay Exchange. Deposits associated with Cruise Exchanges do not receive a bonus certificate.

If you place a request, you must place a Deposit First request in order to remain eligible for a bonus certificate.

Don't wait ... you only have until October 11, 2015 "


I am finding this rather strange as most of these resorts would have the highest demand for January thru April.

Did I miss an earlier offer?
Does anyone else see something difference?
I can see this being appropriate for Legends Edge as that is northern FL but everything else is south.
My ownership is at Grande Vista.

I have the same crazy offer for my Desert Springs weeks. They are asking for late summer/early fall weeks? Ok, whatever you want. :D I'm just waiting until the (almost) last minute so that it will extend my expiration date because we're out of vacation time at the moment.

I also own grand vista with Florida Club but did not get an offer for an AC for deposit

I saw it when I checked my account online today.

I do not recall that it was there a few weeks ago so who knows. :shrug:

I got AC offer for my gold Harbour Lake last month but not for my gold grand vista which I really want. I just deposited grand vista lockoff 3 days ago.

I would call II and complain.
The dates they are giving the AC for is Gold season (as well as Platinum) at Grande Vista.
