Still think Max is worth it when you can get rooms for 10k HH per night?
I wish I were at retirement age—I could easily spend a few months here. Max doesn’t seem worth it when you can book nights for just 10k HH points per night, with even the best 3-bedroom option at only 15k HH points per night. This was during the March to June timeframe.

@JoeAdkins Per your other thread, note the Mystic Dunes Hotel stay above. Instead of DEX to trade into Mystic Dunes, perhaps use Hilton points or just pay $128/night. Then trade the Mystic Dunes 3 bdrm into a much more expensive stay in another DRI/Embarc location.

FWIW all the locations listed above appear to be in Orlando. We know because of overbuilding Orlando can be cheaper than MF. Other HGV/ DRI locations (Maui, Cabo, Palm Desert) are very expensive.

The strange thing on those 10,000 point nights @ Mystic Dunes is that they are listed as Premium Rewards that you can't use to get a 5th night free. On the dates I looked at they also have Standard Rewards available for 37,000 points. There's something screwy going on there.

Yes I saw that as well.
