Still possible to reserve full week by incrementing a reservation?

In popular destinations it is futile to wait for a full week to become available open season, as they are gone before a full 7 days of availability appears at the 9 month mark.
I seem to remember reading years ago that the solution is to book 2 or 3 days initially, and add on day-by day as the availability window opens up at the 9 month mark. Is that still possible? If so, can someone please describe the process step by step?
Thanks

club season, but you need to book 3-days minimum initially.

Many people book the first three nights of their Club Reservation 276 days from checkout and then add additional dates. As @SmithOp wrote, some also start slightly earlier but 'walking' across Home Week reservation boundaries (usually Sat) often fails.

Note that some resorts have Club Reservation windows different than 276 days and some bHC locations don't have a three night minimum so each and every day has to be booked separately.

I don't know about often, but it can fail that way.
