Star option Reservation For 9 days at WSJ

We have a reservation using SO for 9 days at Sunset Bay in WSJ coming up. It is Friday to Sunday. We want to change it to Thursday to Saturday instead. I checked and there is availability for Thursday for 1 night. Can I cancel or move Saturday night and swap it for Thursday night making our 9 days to check in Thursday checking out Saturday. I might need to call Owner services to do that. Will I screw my whole reservation if I did that? Will there be a chance that I will lose the whole reservation by moving the day? Thank you!

Yes, possible, and you might want to only do that by phone. The moment you cancel your existing reservation you run the risk of losing it all.

thank you! I only plan to do this by phoning owner services. Is there a risk of losing my reservation if owner services does the changes?
