Hey all. I'm looking for updated restaurant recommendations for St. Thomas and St. John (spending one week on each in the coming month). It's been over a decade since we stayed on-island (although we've stopped on cruise ships a couple of times).

Separate, but related, where are people preferring to shop for groceries these days? I was amazed to see the K-Mart is still around and the Market in the shopping center there used to be good, but I seem to remember Cost-U-Less was the best option from a price perspective. Any current tips?

We were just there in May (stayed at both Ritz, Frenchman) , On St. Thomas we really enjoyed Sunset Grille at secret beach, great snorkeling there as well. For cheaper eats we really liked Tap and Still (Ate there 3 times) and pizza Amor’e. Cost-u-less still cheapest option, we actually brought frozen food in cooler bag in checked bag was great (meat to grill out) We also ordered ahead from Moe’s while at Ritz (breads, eggs, milk, veggies, fruits, drinks) it was in our villa waiting for us. Wouldn’t recommend getting all groceries this way but fantastic to get started with.
Enjoy your trip!

We do online grocery ordering at Cost U Less and if there is anything we forgot we will pick it up while we are there.

St. Thomas: Tap N Still for burgers, Prime Steakhouse great views for a sunset dinner it's pricey though, Senor Pizza was good they delivered to Margaritaville. We have never been to Gladys' Cafe, but heard good reviews from those at the resort.

St. John: We like High Tide while we wait for the ferry, and North Shore Deli for sandwiches to take to the beaches.
