You've likely seen the photo that was taken by a couple vacationing in the mountains. They were posed for the shot but just as their camera's timer went off, a curious squirrel popped into the photo right in front of the lens.

Now you can squirrrelize your own photo at this site created by a programmer in the UK:
http://www.lutralutra.co.uk/squirrelizer/

I've got the perfect shot to squirrelize, but I'm stumped on how to do it. I need to paste into the squirrelizer the URl where the image can be accessed. I tried putting my photo on Shutterfly, but that doesn't work, and I tried creating my own public Shutterfly photo site, but that doesn't seem to do it either. Can someone more techie than me help steer my in the right direction on where to store the photo so I can get it into this...

Thanks - and happy squirrelizing!

OMG - this is too funny! I had seen the whole crasher squirrel thing a week or so ago - thanks for this post. It works!

I recently joined photobucket and got as far as uploading 3 photos there. Go to photobucket.com and try it out. You can customize your squirrelized photo, I just did 2 versions at Yellowstone Lower Falls...

If you can't get on there, let me know - it must not be too hard if I figured it out, I'm on the very low end of tech-savvy.

Yes, I saw them too. Don't go there if this thread annoyed you and certainly not Bing. He would be very upset. :crash:

Emmy - You caught me with my emoticons down. :D That's actually my Damien grave photo squirrelized.

And now, in true crasher squirrel fashion, squirrel visits other people's waterfall vacations ... :D

(I will delete that if you want me to, Steve, just say the word!)

LOL. Thanks for the link.

I think it's wonderful, Laurie. I'm even sending it to my son.

Lets polecat or skunk or beverise too.

Why not more animals?

Shouldn't this say Photo Rattified instead of Squirrelizing since these are Prairie Dogs and not squirrels? ( I'd say Dogged but then I know someone would point out that Prairie Dogs are rodents not dogs. ;) )
