Hi Everyone
We had booked our condo in Cancun for spring break 09 and i have been
disgusted on what flights have been. I've been checking daily and all this month flights have been $744-794 even up to $801. Well today i logged on and to my excitment they were 477.00. I thought I hit a wrong search at first so I did it again. It was 477 so I yelled for my husband to come to the office, As we were going back and forth to buy now or wait Isaid I wasnt sure if they would come down that much more, then he stated you know they could go up (I think they were around $100 more than last year. )So we just booked them. So for all you that have your reservations made, check your flight prices. With my luck I'll keep checking and the prices will drop a bit more and I'll be upset that I didnt just wait but again I didnt have to buy them at $700-$800 so I guess I did okay.
Ps what I saved in flights today they'll soon get in checked luggage fees

I see your from KS, you didn't by chance book wih Frontier....did you? Just curious as some people seemed to be concerned with booking for them very far out. I'm THISCLOSE to booking with them for next May....we flew with them in 2006 to Cancun, and thought it was a pleasant experience.

Yes we did book with Frontier Our other option is Contenental. Oct 07 we booked for March of 08 and we did have some minor hicups with the reservations They had a few more flights per day last year so we decided to leave at the 7am flight vs the 6a which was a few more dollars but it was easier on the kids traveling with a bit more sleep. then closer to the time they canceled that flight and wanted to give us the 6a we said no and we would take the later flight 10a they wanted to charge us extra so i said put us on the 6a but refund us the difference well anyway after talking with a supervisor we then had the 10a at no extra cost but since there is only one going out the only problem I see would be them canceling it all together. oh I really shouldnt have said that!! LOLIf the flights are reasonable I'd book it!

very good...that's more reassuring to hear other people booking with them. Frontier is our ONLY option for a NON STOP flight, and we really enjoyed our last visit with them. We were looking at 480 pp for next May....which I think is very reasonable compared to what I've seen other flights for.

thanks.

WOW! You guys sure hit the jackpot! I've been watching flight prices for next March and am getting very disgusted:mad: For the past 5 years we probably averaged $450 for a roundtrip ticket out of Pittsburgh. I have yet to find anything under $700:wall:
That is highway robbery. I expect to pay elevated prices but $250 per ticket more is just uncalled for!
I am interested to hear form more of you about your spring break airfare search.

Hurry up and wait.........
