spring break exchange 2011

I have an ongoing search with II for march, week 11, 2011. I have only that one week on search with probably 10 different caribbean resorts from st. maarten (pelicans), st. lucia, bahamas, jamaica, etc.

Is it possible to pull caribbean during spring break? I never have only put in for just 1 particular week. but at this time that looks like the only week we can travel to use timeshare. Its been ongoing for a couple months now. I thought for sure I would have at least pulled pelican resort, st. maarten. There april 2011 weeks are already online.

Oh yeah i also have on search, key west.

It's VERY early for II. I don't find many weeks even looking one year ahead, let alone two.

Yes, but it's good that you started early. An exchange during spring break to the Caribbean can be a challenge. What are you searching with?
I don't see any online at the moment, but Margarita Island and the Dominican Republic often have availability. You might consider adding those if you haven't already included them.

This may be your kid's spring break, but Easter is April 15th, so I think your odds are better for week 11 than if you were looking for the week before or after Easter.

Easter 2011 is April 24. I've looked because I'm curious if we will break that late(doubt it) as our SB is around Easter.

It is also my youngest's 10th birthday.

Another Texan with a spring break 2010 question. Is it too late to snag a Caribbean exchange for week 11, 2010? I'm waiting to close on the purchase of a 3BR platinum at Marriott's Grande Vista. The current owners were kind enough to reserve week 11, 2010 but DH wants to try for a Caribbean exchange.

John has a website saved on one of the computers that gives you Easter dates(both Western and Eastern Orthodox).

I keep wanting to call the school district and ask them about Spring Break, I know they have the 2010-2011 yr done pending on the State coming up with testing dates, which can be in January or late March.

You can't really predict perfectly - but with all of the people worrying about Swine Flu and the economy - there will probably be more availability than normal.

I deposited my week 15 Royal Sands Cancun week just a couple of weeks ago - and my trade for a week 13 Royal Sands (Easter week) was already confirmed...

So, it may not be too late for a week 11 if you have a strong trader..
