Is it possible to split the week at your home resort during home week and rent it out the other half the week?

if we only want to use it during week but want to rent it out for weekend, what’s the best option to do so?

This should be an easy thing to do, but it's not.

You cannot split the week after you reserve it. You will need to cancel and rebook.

When booking your HRPP week, if you select a split week, then you only get one portion reserved, and the other is automatically converted to CUP points.

You can then use those CUP points to try and reserve the other part of the week. But there is no guarantee of success.

You cannot split the week and have both parts reserved as HRPP.

It might be possible to get a guest certificate, and then hand it to the renters on their way in. But I wouldn't recommend it. In fact, I don't recommend renting. It adds an order of magnitude of complexity, and for what?

Better to drop the points into II and grab an additional week next year.
