We are considering going to one of these resorts next October. Which one is the better resort? Is the water still warm then in the pool or in the ocean?

I know it is off season, but are most of the restaurants open then?

Which ones do you think are good? Things to do etc?

thanks for any information

We own at the Inverness. I think Royale beach is a little nicer. But it seems there is no privacy while out on your balcony. The Inverness has parking under the building. Also when you walk out of the parking garage you are on the beach. Royale beach has a board walk to get to the beach. Which does get hot on the feet in the summer sun. There is a trade off with each one. They both have their good points and bad points. I do have some pictures in our photo page. Come to think of it we will be at the Inverness 3rd week in April.

We went to South Padre middle of October 2008. Ocean water warm, restaurants open. We had a wonderful time. But were told that at that time of year, it could go either way as to if the water will be warm enough.

I don't remember seeing a internet room but I used my dialup account from our unit. The local calls were free but they told us during spring break time there is a charge for local calls.
