During the past few days, I've heard many times that the "Embrace Statue" is the location of today's No Kings protest in Boston. I've lived in Boston "forever" and had never heard of that statue. But I just did a search and read a bit about it and it's something that may be of interest to Boston visitors. During an upcoming trip "downtown" (i.e., near the Custom House), I'm planning to go see it.
It commemorates a famous "embrace" between Martin Luther King and Coretta Scott King. I learned that they had met in Boston in 1952 when he was a master's degree student at Boston University and she was a student at the New England Conservatory of Music.
