Santa Barbara & Palm Springs are over 200 miles apart, and one is in the desert and one is on the ocean

but they both have "socialites", palm trees & hollywood yapping heads so there ya go.

I am very familiar with Interval and there aren't any (?) timeshares in those cities. The nearest timeshare might be Avila Beach. But it is a small timeshare.

I suggest that you consider to switch to a hotel. Solvang is small and doesn't have a lot of hotel rooms. But Santa Barbara is bigger and tons of hotels.
