Its floating weeks 1 - 50 only. 51 and 52 are event weeks. If you do convert to points HGVC gives it Platinum season even though a few weeks in the spring and fall are actually Gold season.

I own a unit at BC. Hence my knowing this info.

To be honest, not that familiar with them.. just started looking into this forum recently

Timeshares are not for everybody. They are a long-term commitment, you will be billed the Maintenance Fees (MFs) every year, whether or not you use it, as long as you own one. I strongly recommend you research timeshares before you commit.
