We got snow above 6,000 feet last night. We are at 5,000 feet so we got rain at our elevation. It's still snowing at the top of the mountains right now. This is the view from our patio this morning:

We got about 6 inches last night, though it basically melted today. We're only at 960ft here. The ongoing rain is actually welcome as I guess we were starting to get into a drought and also I'd like the burn ban lifted but I guess we probably will have to wait till Dec 1st no matter what the weather does.

Great picture. Living here for so long, I tend to take for granted how scenic it is (as long as the snow stays in the foothills 😂).
Yeah. It took a little camera magic.- long exposure and one of those sunsets when the sun peeks out from under dark clouds, but as cities go, li'l ol' Boise's kinda special, except for those Winter inversions. And about 2-3X as many people as I like there.
