Slow Comcast Speeds Were Costing Netflix Customers - by David Goldman/ Tech/ Money/ cnn.com

"Why did Netflix pay Comcast to stream its videos faster? Because Netflix was losing customers..."

Netflix told the FCC that calls made to its customer support center about slow-loading videos on Comcast's network more than quadrupled late last year.

Slow, really?

I'd trade to comcast. I doubt it was slow loading, they're just spoiled.
In the rural community in which I live, there are only 2 choices, and I'm currently using the best choice. I average 2.6 t0 2.8 mbps.
Who do you think is slower?

I also watch netflix without any issues, once it does load.

My issue with Netflix this week, is that after being a subscriber for nearly 3 years, I suddenly find I have had to login each time I access Netflix on our main TV this past week. No problems logging in on a laptop or Ipad, so it is TV specific, the same Sharp Acquos I've had for 4 years....and my smart TV firmware is up todate. I reset my account info with Netflix to see if that helped, but to no avail. Netflix customer help is of no help! It's a pain to have to log in a long email address and password one letter at a time on the hand-held remote. Have to figure this out soon.

No cookies enabled on tv, I'm guessing. If there has been an update it may have changed settings. My .02 worth.

The issue is the TV, that's where the user/password would be stored, check your TV settings. Firmware updates will reset everything back to default, erasing stored passwords.

Roku for $50+, and you'll get access to a lot more channels, too. And save yourself much angst and time.
