This is directed to Silver leaf endless escape owners and bonus time free Sunday-Thursday 3 nights.

How often in the summer do you ever get to book with your bonus time a full week at a resort??

I would think availability would be almost nil now if you were retired had the time to travel during the fall winter and part of spring i would think bonus time especially endless escape would prove a big hit.

With true endless escape you can stay 1-6 days with 7 days (IIRC) in between. I think the most I stayed was 5 days. We had four SL resorts within a day's drive and used bonus time a lot. Twenty-one days the first year alone.

SL bonus time works best for non-peak times, but I have used it in the summer. But you cannot stay more than 6 days in a row.

But it is rather a moot point since no bonus time (and especially EE) transfers with resale, and I don't even think they are selling properties with EE anymore.

First thanks for the reply I have researched this immensely and you are right in most cases EE time and/or bonus time on newer contracts will not transfer on a resell. It does in some cases though it depends how it is stated on the deed. I spoke with a lady on the phone that works in owner relations at Silverleaf and she has worked there many years. She stated it depends on what is stated on the deed on really old deeds the EE time will transfer, but in some cases it won't especially in cases where the timeshare with EE time was once sold again to a new owner. Also on some older bonus time accounts I was told those would transfer to. The smartest thing is to go through a title company have the original owner verify with silverleaf and the title company and state the bonus time in the seller's disclosure.

At first I too believed that the bonus time would not transfer, but after speaking with the rep sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't just depends on the deed.

You are definitely right they do not sell EE anymore due to a lawsuit back in 2001 where owners were pissed that they could almost never use their bonus time, but I really think they had the boom lowered on them bc they oversold time shares I am not 100% positive on the 2001 lawsuit details but I do know there was a lawsuit in 2001 and that is why they got rid of the bonus time.
