I think it’s a programming issue. On the app you can change up until noon or so, maybe noon Eastern time, on the website it’s midnight the night before. Or vice versa, I can’t remember for sure which is which. You can call and Owner Care will do it for you. So there’s no rule against doing it, just a programming issue. Introduced several months ago now.
There are their timing issues as well. For example, I live in central time zone and I can’t do bonus time until 1 AM my time. I bet you those back east can do it at midnight. And we’ve discussed before, and not pinned down, what time or time zone is used for things like last time to add on a day or last time for an automatic upgrade.
Enforcing the owner priority rules seems solid to me, programmatically. I don’t think this program issue with making a last day or so change is related to that.
