SHOULD I RENEW OUR PASSPORTS IF WE NO LONGER HAVE PLANS TO FLY ANYWHERE?

Key points to have at your Social Security interview...
I brought almost all those docs, but they only wanted my ID and marriage certificate.
It seems, if you already get SS, they know all about you, except your marriages.
They made a copy of the certificate and returned it to me.

"What? There's no jar for a tip?"

Probably too litte loo late - but long story short - plans change. I'm a hope for the best, plan for the worst type of person. The last thing I'd want to have to deal with is an emergency scenario when I don't have a passport if/when needed. Be proactive, plan for the unexpected, get your passports renewed, especially considering you don't have REAL ID compliant driver's licenses, which are now required even for domestic flights. If you let your passports expire, and don't have a REAL ID compliant form of ID, you're simply out of luck in an unexpected, often stressful, emergency scenario.
Right. That was exactly my thought process. Done!
