I was looking at Marriott.com to add a Friday night to our potential getaway at Sheraton Vistana Resort (8800 Vistana Centre). It shows a $30 parking fee?!? We’ve never been charged for parking there when staying through interval- has this changed in 2026?

They now charge a parking fee for non timeshare based stays. So if you book through Marriott.com the parking fee will apply. If you stay on an II or RCI booking, there would not be a parking fee since that is a timeshare based stay.

They put the verbiage about the parking fee on every reservation, but it only applies to reservations booked through the hotel site for cash or Bonvoy points. It doesn’t apply to ownership stays or exchanges, whether occupied by owners or guests or renters. It used to apply to Encore Package stays but supposedly that is ending too (when I booked an Encore stay last week, they told me there would be a $30/day charge for parking, I asked if they were sure because I’d read that they were ending that, she said she wasn’t certain and I should inquire with the property.)

Anyway, to the OP, if you add an extra night via Marriott.com, then yes, you will have to pay the parking fee for that night or nights.
