SHERATON DESERT OASIS --- Question

I'm looking at acquiring a 2 bedroom at SHERATON DESERT OASIS, in Scottsdale, AZ and the owner is tell me he has a fixed week 52 for a two bedroom. I used to own there and my understanding is that they are all floating weeks, just in different seasons. Kicking myself that I got rid of my 2 BEDROOM LOCKOFF, SHERATON DESERT OASIS, so know trying to snag one but don't want a fixed week, I want a floating one...thanks to anyone that can help me

I think this might be better asked in the Vistana forum. I have reported it to ask for it to be moved there. More likely to get more eyeballs on the question there.

Ask for the deeded unit number to determine if it is a true platinum week or just a regular Gold Plus week.

I have never heard of a fixed week at SDO - I'm thinking this is someone who doesn't know much about the resort, and because week 52 is listed on the deed, he thinks it's fixed. Perhaps a resale agent? The week on the deed is for recording purposes onliy.

Coincidentally, I actually own an SDO week that is deeded for week 52, and it floats 1-52.

@DeniseM, I owned a unit here for about 5 years and then sold it her on Tug when i bought more FL weeks at VBHC. Now hubby is missing this TS, so I'm trying to buy one and this owner keeps insisting he bought it as a fixed week 52, I have asked to see the deed and he states he will get it to me next week. When I owned there, I would go to the managers meetings and I was told years ago that all the weeks floated but was not sure if this was true or not.
