Sheraton Deposit with Interval International

Hi all. I have a reservation at SDO (Sheraton Desert Oasis) for February 2nd to the 9th I have been trying to rent. Does anyone know if I cancel the reservation within 60 days of the check-in date, can you still deposit into II up until December 31st, or is the week restricted due to the late cancellation? This is a resale week only, no StarOptions or Abound. Thanks!

Yes. I have done this. You can cancel any time prior to the check in date. Unless they have changed the rules. SDO's cancellation policy is great.
