Hi Madge,
I'm thinking of selling one of my two Points weeks and am unsure of the logistics that might be involved. I emailed feedback@rci.com and they said I really needed to call a Points guide with my question. I really like having this sort of thing in writing to make it easier for me to understand and I'm sure other TUGgers are also curious, so thought I'd throw it out here.
If I sell the week before the beginning of my use year, would the 2007 points automatically go to the new owner (assuming they have joined RCI Points)?
If I had used part of my 2007 points, could my account be adjusted to reflect all of those against the week I'm keeping, even if it meant borrowing from the following year?
There doesn't seem to be any transfer of points involved if the sale completed before the use year started. I'm just not sure exactly how the accounting would turn out.
Thanks for any information you can provide on this matter.
Sheila
