Hello

I have purchased Marriott Vacation Club club membership in 2011 by paying 192827.25 hong kong dollars. Presently I have 25613 points. I don't use it any longer as we don't go on much of a holidays. I want to sell my membership.

Greatful if you please advise on what is the best way to sell it.

Thanks
Neelu

You are likely to have purchased Marriott Asia Pacific system. Most of us here are not familiar with the Asia Pacific system and hopefully someone on TUG can help. Have you contacted Marriott Vacation Club directly? Occasionally we hear from someone on TUG that Marriott has bought (at a steep discount) or taken back their timeshare weeks and points.

Please clarify what kind of points you have. Amount you specified looks more like Marriott Rewards points, but your Club membership more likely can be Asia-Pacific.

Back in 2011, Asia Pacific (AP) Points would have been at a 10:1 ratio to DC Points.
In 2016 the Points programmes were aligned on a 1:1 ratio, so I suspect this would be 2561 Points today.
As mentioned, it is always worth asking MVC Asia Pacific whether they will offer to buy your Points back albeit likely to be at a very low rate if they do.
Alternatively
there is an MVC AP Owners facebook group you could join and advertise your Points for sale
there are Resale companies in Asia and Europe who may be able to help with selling your Points
you could rent out your Points, at least in the short term whilst trying to sell them.

Thanks for your reply. I did contact Marriott but they said there is no way I can sell them back

I don't know specifics for AP but in general just realize you're likely to only get back a small portion of what you paid upfront.

Depending on who you contacted in Marriott, I know that the Sales team in Phuket have in the past offered helpful suggestions as to how owners might be able to sell if they are not buying back themselves.
However, I suggest that you might consider joining the facebook groups where Asia Pacific points are being offered for sale.
