Selling Hyatt vacation Club weeks and not losing Hyatt Gold Passport points

I have 2 weeks that I want to sell/give to my family members. But when I signed my contracts about 15 years ago it states that if I sell my contracts I will loose my points in the Hyatt Gold Passport account. Has anyone else been faced with this problem. My other thinking is it is no longer called Hyatt Gold Passport and maybe that would save my points. I have about 450,000 hotel points, so this could be a considerable loss.
does anyone have any experience with this? Or ideas what to do?
thank you so much for any replies.

I remember a post about this but cannot find it.

Bill Gabrielli @ResaleExpert is a resale expert and may be able to chime in. He is a long time poster here on TUG.

I have never heard of Hyatt Hotels clawing back points except in cases of suspected fraud. I would bet it is just typical catch-all nonsense that lawyers add to the contract to cover contingencies. For example HVC would claw back if they sent you points and then you somehow rescinded a purchase offer.

But 15 years later? That sounds very unlikely and very dubious legally.
