I have a timeshare for sale on TUG and was contacted by someone who I thought was a legitimate buyer. It is a long story, but I have provided the persons email to TUG and asked that she be blocked. I spent hours writing contracts and advising her of every little detail and almost two months later, and after signing one of the contracts, she said she was not interested.

I don't want to pay any fees to get rid of my timeshare and am selling it for $0. All I expect is that they buyer will pay for 2018 maintenance fees and all costs associated with the sale. The transfer company said the cost would not be what Shell Vacations told me, so be certain to get something in writing from the Timeshare company and the Transfer company about the costs before you write any contracts!

If you owe nothing, you can just call Shell for deedback. They have a program called Ovation that takes back deeds when nothing is owed on it.

What Title company are you using? Standard procedure is for the title company to provide an estoppel letter that discloses the transfer fees.

That is Wyndham that has the Ovation program.

Shell is part of Wyndham and although they didn't start offering Ovations to Shell owners as early as they did for Wyndham, they have the same program in place. Like the current procedure of Wyndham Ovation, Shell owners need to call and say what they own and then they will be notified if they can deed back for no out of pocket. If they can they will be sent all the necessary paperwork. I believe the number to call is different from the Wyndham line and is specific to Shell owners.

Yes. I know they own RCI. Didn't know about the breakout of the hotel division.
