Self Referral question

I think that it is possible to refer yourself once per year. Can someone confirm this fact? What I was hoping to do was refer myself to take advantage of a 5 day $199 trip to Orlando. Thanks.

You can refer yourself for points if you already own. Don't know if there is a time limit.

I believe the self referral points only come in when you purchase. 40K points if you buy.

Ohh, sorry, Unless you live in a couple of states that it is the preview package for 10K points. I know NC is one of those. Not sure how that works.

I live in one of those "pre-view" states (PA) where you only get 10,000 points. HOWEVER . . . if you are purchasing another timeshare you will get the 40,000 points. If you wait until they do the double referral points, you'll get 80,000 points (I think).
