We own at Sedona Pines Resort but haven't been back in several years only because we have been busy going other places and trading through RCI. This resort is not like many that you have stayed as it is individual units so you are not attached like apartment living. The units are like staying in a mobile home but made well and solid with their own attached decks. You don't feel like you are staying in a hotel suite but in a separate condo unit. If you are looking for some place to go and truly feel like you are by yourself, this is the place to stay. There's a community pool and minature golf onsite along with a restaurant but you will want to explore beautiful Sedona and the surrounding areas. Great place to vacation, for sure!

lgarter,

Welcome to TUG. We are sorry to learn of your health problems and we hope you will again be able to travel in the not to distant future.

Unfortuately subtle advertising on TUG is considered just as bad as openly blatant advertising. Please go to the following link and read prohibition # 2.

Posting Rules

If you decide that it is in your best interest to sell or rent you timeshare there are appropriate ways to do that here on TUG. Membership is $15.00 per year and with that membership you get the opportunity to list your property openly.

Sorry!! Didn't mean to sound that way...

Ok, Sorry! I only wanted to give a review on the resort and we haven't been there for so long that I didn't think I could do it in the review area.

I didn't read the post as an advertisement at all, just as a recommendation and some useful information.

With the glowing reccomendation and the "sob" story about no longer being able to use it - my perception was it was a subtle ad . . .

I made my case to the mod, who also saw it as potentially an ad

OK, so the OP has been edited and the complaints no longer make sense. However, it's completely legitimate to mention something positive about this resort as I've seen negative comments from other members here who have never even stayed at Sedona Pines. I assume there's a negative perception because these units appear to fall into the category of manufactured housing. No worries. They are likely "park models" which are akin to upscale motor homes in the way that the interior are appointed.
I've owned at Sedona Pines for 10 years and just returned from my 5th trip. I am looking forward to my next visit and have no intention of selling. My sons are planning to inherit my ts. Really!
I'm impressed with the upkeep of the resort. They've plowed plenty of money back into it. In addition to Sedona's largest pool (except maybe the city or high school pool) which has terrific aqua aerobics, there are two more spa - lagoon areas on the property. The laundry facilities are nice and no extra charge. There's free wireless.
There's jacuzzi garden tubs in the units, flat screen tv's, corian countertops and fully loaded kitchens. The mattresses are some new extra comfy brand. I love the many windows which provide natural light and fresh air. My patio is private. There's a little brook that runs behind the units. They are just really nice. The people who stay there rave about the place. But some local Sedona Tuggers seem to think other wise.

Good to hear from someone who has been to Sedona Pines lately. Glad to hear that it is still as nice as we remembered it. It also sounds like it is being maintained. Great!

Sedona Pines has Nice resort grounds and the park model type units are nice but these units are These units are tiny.
They are the smallest I have ever seen. I also Didn't like the fact the second bedroom in the 2-BR is detached from the main unit. The resort is located way outside of Sedona as you head out 89A toward cottonwood. with all the other better choices available in Sedona Pines is unfortunetly at the bottom of my prefered list.
