SDO Fixed Weeks

Question: Looks like one of my weeks is actually a fixed week. If I choose to not utilize that week, when is the first month can I exchange? I looked here and on the Dashboard and didn’t find a clear answer.

Which leads into my next question: Is it a True Platinum week if it has the unit range but is not floating?

There are no Fixed weeks at SDO. The week number and unit number you see on the deed are just for recording purposes.

You can deposit a full year before the use year provided you pay the maintenance fees first. You then can have 2 more years to use after the use year, giving you a full 4 years to use. Say the use year is in 2020. You can deposit on Jan 1 2019 if you pre-pay the maintenance fees. The II deposit can be used until Dec 31 2022. Vistana will deposit a blended week for you, based on the season that you own.

To be a true Platinum week at Sheraton Desert Oasis the unit number must be in this range-
1064, 1072, 1081-1100, 2064, 2072, 2081- 2100, 3064-3072, and 3081-3100

AND

the deeded week must be in this range: 1-21, 50-52
