We bought a week at Scottsdale Camelback in 1981ish. We have one weed, week5. It is paid off and 2023 assessments are paid. How to I feed this back? I contacted the resort and they tegerrred me to Vacatia who hasn’t (nor I expect) a call back. Do I just stop paying assessments or should I attempt a formal written notice?

Thanks in advance!

Call the resort management company, is that Vacatia? If that doesn't work, see if you can contact the resort BOD or board member directly to see if they are taking deed backs. You can also try and give it away in the timeshare giveaway forum here on TUG. You can also try listing it in the TUG Marketplace for free.

I've contacted Vacatia and a call taker referred me to her supervisor who would contact me. It's been silent so far. Good info on the BOD members. If one can find a party to take the unit, what paperwork needs to be done? I assume there is some transfer paperwork filed with the County recorder?

Thanks for the info!
