Sitting down and looking at were we travel to most frequently, it stood out that Colorado get more time than any other state, even though I try to spread things out. When we first started with timeshare it was a lot of Branson and Las Vegas, but those days seem to be behind us. Colorado is either a short 1 hour flight or a long 5 to 9 hour drive, depending on the destination.
To that end I thought I’d put together a short 2 minute video of why we’ve been traveling more to Colorado these past few years.

Very nice video and great choice for soundtrack.

My family travels all over, including internationally, but it seems that Colorado is by far our most frequent destination as well. It's about double the flight or drive time for us compared to yours, so we pretty much always fly.

Beautiful video - but then you've got a wonderful subject!!! We've only been to Colorado once, but it's amazing!!! Great job!!!

Great video. We go to Breckenridge 4-5 times each year with at least 3 ski trips and one summer trip. My wife loves the summer trip because she doesn't ski. I try to make the summer trip 2 weeks long in order to get out summer heat here in the south. What is great our summer trip is starting this coming Saturday. I sent your video to our other guest joining us. Thanks again for the video, it was great.

I'm from NY and would rather fly to Denver to ski in Breckenridge than take a 4 to 5 hour drive to Vermont. I'm going to try Park City this year... Mostly to prove that Colorado is still better.

Where do y'all stay in Colorful Colorado? We own two different (older) timeshares, plus Wyndham and WorldMark. We rarely stay in our actual owned weeks. We bought off-season weeks originally in 1982. Now we own four ski and three summer weeks in Frisco.

I rent our Frisco ski weeks and deposit our summer weeks in Winter Park into RCI for PIC in Wyndham, but we rarely even use those weeks for that purpose. It's really about time to get rid of those Winter Park weeks. They are so old.

When we went, we stayed at Pagosa Springs. We did lots of traveling then ~ we rode the Durango & Silverton, The Cumbres & Toltec into NM and back to CO, and even planned a birthday picnic up at the Great Divide ~ who woulda thunk there'd be three feet of snow on June 10???:shrug: It was still a great vacation with beautiful scenery!

Lately we’ve been spending a week in late August at GC8 in Breckenridge. We own a week and find this time of year everything is open, but the majority of the families are gone.
We recenty spent a long weekend in Steamboat Springs and will return there for another long weekend next July.
We have also spent time at the Ritz in Vale.
Sometimes we do a lot of driving and day trips, other times we just lounge, relax and enjoy the cool mountain air.

We really enjoy Colorado and just returned from a trip to Avon. Summer mountain vacations have become our preferred trip. If we don't stay in Colorado, we take the train through it to Park City. The waterfall in your video looks familiar. Do you recall where you took that video?

The waterfall is the short hike to Fish Creek Falls in Steamboat Springs

We don't go to the mountains much. What a shame. I really want to go to Mesa Verde next spring/ early summer with the grandkids.

I know what you mean. We've lived in CO for almost 35 years and there are still many places we haven't been that are common places tourists go to when they visit CO. Kind of weird how that works.
