Patricia Cornwell's books were big sellers back in the day
Not sure where she stands on the best seller lists today
Kidman and Curtis certainly are some proven stars
They bring real acting skills to the show
Hope it is a winner
Need something new to watch
 
I will look for this for sure.I have read all of Patricia Cornwell’s books. I wonder if Simon Baker will portray Benton, Kay Scarletta’s husband.

Wait a minute.
,sister Dorothy is not a main character and the series is not about two sisters. This write up makes me order how this series is going to portray the book series.

I totally agree. Dorothy was always a peripheral character who was Lucy’s mom. Lucy should be an important part of the series, as should Marino, Kay Scarpetta’s policeman friend.

But then Marino went and married Dorothy, so you get a twofer anyway.
 
I think Jamie Lee Curtis wasted in the role if Dorothy.
