I got suckered into purchasing 2 exploding gift boxes for Christmas on November 30, 2023. I will probably get my purchase, but these a$$h@t$ did not disclose that that the product is being shipped on a slow boat from China (literally) and will probably not arrive on or after Christmas.

Fool me once.

What is the attraction of an exploding gift box?

When you open it, small boxes expand and jump out of the box. You can put gift cards checks, or cash between the boxes to be thrown in the air as the gift is opened.

Did you order from TEMU?

I liked the looks/price of some of their products, and was going to order for my wife for Christmas.

When I read the reviews.....I decided not to do that.

No, my experience with TEMU has been positive for fulfillment.

This jeezer had an attractive web page ad that appealed to me. The money was not great ~$40, but it was just that I was counting on it for a present and now I have to pivot.

Are the boxes Christmas themed? Otherwise Valentine’s Day is coming! I have Cliff’s Valentine’s and early April birthday gifts bought and wrapped. Easy to buy multiple shirts and/or pajamas and books while Christmas shopping, and splitting them up into three holidays. Then I only have to drag the under-the-bed containers of gift wrap and ribbons out once, and that’s important for an old lady who has to carefully plan any activity that involves getting down on the floor!

Yes, they have Christmas decorations.

Oh well. If you're ordering anything from China for Xmas at this point then you likely can now count on it for Xmas of 2024.

.

Well, it looks as if the slow boat from China landed in New York. The package is scheduled to arrive on or after December 28th.
