Scam Artist - any way to report

I received another of those scam emails with the person wanting to buy my timeshare but she is hearing impaired etc etc.

Is there anywhere that this can be reported?

I feel sorry for the people that get taken advantage.

Not worth the time or the bother, really...

There is every prior indication that this tired, old, well worn "hearing impaired buyer" scam with "currently travelling broker" is based outside of the U.S.
I can't believe they keep trying to run this con; I hope that precious few people are gullible enough to send someone money when selling a timeshare.

There has been information posted that this scammer is operating out of various internet cafe's in Egypt. Hence, there is no one to report them to. By posting to threads, like 'Hearing impaired seller' or 'Traveling broker' or 'overpayment, what to do?', etc. there is a better chance that others who are caught up in this scam will Google those terms and know to not cash the check or send the phony overpayment anywhere.

Someone here strung the scammer along for a while until the scammer gave up, but left plenty of clues about their m.o.

Well, as long as people are falling for this age-old scam, these crooks are going to continue running this con. Hopefully everybody wises up and realizes how ludicrous the details of this scam are and stops falling for this scam.

My intended point was that any thinking person selling something (...whether a timeshare or anything else) would never logically send money to their buyer.
The whole notion is just so backwards and illogical that I just cannot even wrap my head around it. I'd like to believe that this scam actually has few if any actual "takers", but since it costs nothing but a little typing and imagination to "run" it on the Internet, perhaps would-be scammers just persistently keep trying.
