This grocery store has opened near the entrance to Harborside Resort on Paradise Island

Does anybody have any feedback on prices, selction, items stocked, etc. etc.

Would it have enough of a selection to replace a run to Super Valu or Solomons Market across the bridge on New Providence Island

Thanks in advance

Wow, great find. Website looks great. I'll be going in a month, and I'll report back.

We were last at Harborside in May, so it wasn't open. I didn't even know about it. This would be pretty good option. I wonder if the resort will continue to have the grocery store shuttle that runs on Sat, Sun and Mon?

It does look like it might be a bit of a walk from Harborside. The nice thing about the shuttle is they drop you off at the lobby area and the resort provides grocery carts.

I hope it can get enough traffic to stay in business. Is there enough residents or long term stay guests on Paradise Island to support such a business? Most of the people there head to Atlantis and never leave.

We were there in December. Pricing typical for Nassau. Wasn't fully stocked yet, but it did help. Just 2 of us, so did not need alot.
Try to bring what we can.

@jw0 Any update on whether you were able to use Sawyer's and how it was for convenience/quality/pricing?
It was quite nice, brand new. Problem was the selection - some shelves were empty, I think because fall was off-season. Hopefully during busier times it'd be better stocked.

Sawyer's Fresh Market has apparently run into financial difficulties
Employees at Harborside indicated the store opened at looked like it would be similar to Solomon's regarding pricing
Then they developed a financial problem at stores on other islands
I dropped by and they had a limited selection of products at very high prices
The man at checkout had no idea when they might recover and run again at full speed
Do not count on Sawyer's for shopping until further notice
Super Value is still doing very well
Using a taxi from Harborside is $60 dollars for a one-hour shopping trip to Super Value
Using the Harborside arranged shuttle to Solomon's is $12 for a one hour shopping trip
Since I was shopping for 3 families it made more sense to take a waiting taxi to Super Value and spend $750 at Super Value and $300 at the liquor store in Mackey Plaza

We are here today and walked over to Sawyers. Stock was very low - I'd estimate 10% of the store was stocked at best, and there was almost no produce or fresh items in the cases. Strangely a few things were quite a good deal (eg they had a few turkeys cut into pieces all priced at $2.99/lb), but most was very expensive. The 2L of milk was $8, which is about what I paid for the 4L at supervalu on the way in.

They still have the shuttle to solomon's - it's $12 per person round trip.
