This is off-topic a bit, but you may enjoy it. I found the expressions on shopper's faces fascinating, and I thought the guy running the sausage machine did an outstanding job. Enyoy...

That is one of the funniest videos ever!

My grandparents had a farm and I was always aware of where meat came from. I swear some people think that it comes from a plastic package.

One of the reasons that I think that a plant based diet is best.

I too grew up watching hogs butchered on my grandparent's farm. Chickens as well. Cows were taken to a slaughterhouse. A few years ago we were traveling the back roads on Grand Cayman and came across a small slaughterhouse as they were raising a freshly killed cow up to be butchered. DW asked if she could watch as she had never seen such a thing. She still likes beef. The only thing that bothered me was when they were sweeping up the scraps and wrapping them in the intestines. I remarked that they must toss that stuff out but they said no, there was a poor family down the road who would cook bits in their stew to give it a beefy flavor. It would probably be their only taste of meat.

It is sad to think that someone would be that poor. Kind of the slaughterhouse to save it for them.

The only part of a pig that doesn't get used is the squeal.
