I have seen ads for this product and wondered if anyone has tried it. From what I get out of it is you pay a one time fee of around $50 for software that will allow your PC to receive up to 3000 TV channels from all over this earth. The ads say there are no additional fees. Like they say, if it sounds to good to be true, it probable is. So, is it a scam or does it really work? KCI's wingman

Simply putting the product name and "scam" in a google search yields descriptions such as this:

"Everything I've read about this type of thing tells me it's a scam, or at least a waste of money. The software you get for your forty bucks is nothing more than a menu of free online television broadcasts. Most of the stations listed are foreign, and the list contains many entries that are obsolete or do not work.

Sorry, but there's no way to turn your PC into a satellite dish and get free HBO. But there is some good news... You CAN use your internet-connected computer to tune into a huge number of free television broadcasts. You can watch the BBC News, Comedy Central, Discovery Channel, ESPN, and other broadcasts from around the world.

I suggest that you first go to the official website of the TV station or broadcast that you'd like to watch and look for a link to view live or recent broadcasts. If you don't see what you want there, try one of these sites:"

My husband uses his computer to watch TV all the time.

However, he only gets stations we get on cable or DirecTV. Certainly not 3000.

He bought a wireless HVAC (or something like that, I'm too lazy to run downstairs to check the name on the device.). We use cable for internet and DirecTV for television.

But we can actually use the cable for TV too.
