Do not post inventory, no way to tell what they have. Anyone know how to work with their system. Wasted deposit with them.

SFX is a small exchange system that has a small number of resort developers that it works closely with. They're good if you are trying to get into Vidanta, Pueblo Bonito, and a few other resorts in Mexico (e.g., Buganvilias) and have done okay with Hilton. There are probably a few others I'm not all that familiar with - all I use them for is going to the Mexican ones in the shoulder or low seasons for a lower cost.
You can find a fair number of postings about SFX in the Exchanging Timeshares forum. Some people have complaints similar to yours while some others have better experiences because what SFX can offer fits better with what they want. Mostly you need to call in and speak with a rep if what you're looking for isn't something they get a lot of. What are you trying to get?

Yep, I agree that their system is just a guessing game. I feel like I am playing 20 Questions or Go Fish with them. "Do you have anything in Orlando?" "No, Go Fish." "Do you have anything in So California?" "Go Fish."
Me: "Do you have anything on Kauai, Myrtle Beach, Hilton Head Island, North Carolina, Massachusetts, Maine? What about the Big Island?"
SFX: "Yes, we have a one bedroom on the Big Island but your deposit won't pull it."
Then you say, "What do you have that I can get?" SFX: "We cannot work with you like that. Give us some ideas of what you want."
At least when I play games with my grandkids, I occasionally get what I need while playing these games.
