Admission to 5 Famous San Francisco Attractions...plus unlimited cable car rides!

San Francisco CityPass $59 - Children $39

San Francisco CityPass is a carefully selected collection of San Francisco’s most popular, most famous attractions, priced a whopping 49% less than the cost of tickets purchased separately. T

Inside each San Francisco CityPass booklet are five actual admission tickets – plus unlimited cable car rides, each with a little tip revealing a CityPass secret to skip main ticket lines. Plan an action-packed weekend -- or take up to nine leisurely days -- to explore San Francisco’s shops, restaurants, and neighborhoods. San Francisco CityPass includes MUNI transportation and one admission to each attraction:

1. Muni & Cable Car 7-Day Passport : unlimited transportation on Muni cable cars, street cars, and buses for 7 consecutive days (compare with $5 regular fare per cable car ride)

2. California Academy of Sciences: general admission including exhibits, aquarium, rain forest, planetarium, natural history museum and the living roof

3. Blue & Gold Fleet Bay Cruise Adventure: one one-hour cruise

4. Aquarium of the Bay: general admission

5. SF Museum of Modern Art: general admission

6. Exploratorium: general admission
OR
de Young Museum and Legion of Honor (if visited on the same day): general admission

This is a great card! Will be picking one up when we arrive on Thursday. The week long transportation pass is a bonus! We used it on our trip 2 years ago, and found it was much more useful and economical than the "GoCard", (which included many more sites, but was much more expensive).

If you plan to visit the new academy of Science museum, make sure you arrive before or within 15 mins of its opening. The entrance will be closed once the visitor number reaches its allowed capacity.

Have fun!

We did the City Pass this time and loved it. Actually got to Academy of Sciences at about noon and had no trouble getting it in. A short line. So maybe the crowds are thinning out. It was a Saturday, too, as that was the only day by son had off work.

good to know. maybe the locals are on vacation:D

Decide if you will use what the city pass offers. For us, we'd only use the muni pass so it's cheaper to just buy that part and skip the city pass.

Don't forget Tut is in town!
