Hello, I was wondering if anyone would be willing to the 'share' any samples of documents used to exit their time share. Letters communicating your intentions to the resort. In our case we do not owe anything on the TimeShare - and the Maintence Fees are current. Thanks.

Have you considered giving it away on TUG at no cost to yourself?

"After careful thought and consideration I have decided to exercise my legal right to rescind". That says it in a nutshell.

While they didn't clarify, based on their wording I suspect they are trying to exit a timeshare after the rescission period has ended. Certainly if they are within the rescission period, a simple letter is all that is needed.

The OP is not rescinding. They say their TS is paid off and MF is current. This is an ideal situation for them to list it in the TUG Free Timeshares and simply re-home it. They'd be free of an unwanted TS and someone else gets one at little cost (transfer only- and that's negotiable. There's no assurance that any resort will accept a deedback resulting from a letter from an owner.

If it's the one listed in the OP's profile, (King's Creek) it's a nice Williamsburg property.

OP- Good for you for taking the action to ask for the deedback. I do think it's good advice to give away on the free timeshare forums like Passepartout and others suggest. Your timeshare just needs a new home.
