I hate to hear this...very sad.

We were in St. Maarten one year and the pool didn't really have a shallow section. We were sitting in the chairs and this family came in, parents went to the back row of chairs and where not paying attention when both of their kids jumped in, neither could swim, and were immediately in trouble. Luckily our son immediately jumped in and pulled them out....their parents had no clue what was going on and didn't even become aware of what happened until it was over. Ugh...

Truly tragic... 9:30pm on a Saturday night; she was only 8 years old. Apparently police are investigating the circumstances. Unfortunately, for every family we've witnessed with award winning supervision & oversight of their children, we see two with compromised situational awareness.

very sad news indeed
