Rumor/clarification? vacationclub points for more hotels/

I see that in Palm Springs, there are many other hotels accepting the vacation club points (Sheraton, etc). Does anyone know if Santa Barbara has any hotels we can use points for? Doesn't seem like many timeshares in that area.

I don't know what you are looking at but none of the hotels in Palm Springs allow you to book a room using Abound Points.

The closest hotel to Santa Barbara that accepts Abound Points is the The Westin Bonaventure Hotel & Suites in LA.

You can see the list of hotels that you can book using Abound Points on the MVC website on the Hotels and Luxury Residences page (though you have to call to book them).

The only hotels in CA that are on the current list to accept Club Points for a booking are in LA, Monterey, Sonoma, and Napa. Are you sure you aren't seeing a Westin timeshare in Palm Desert?
