Starting to make up our itineray for trip to Cabo in March. My sister is really interested in visiting some ancient ruins. Are there any within a day trips drive. We are planning day trips to La Paz and another day to Todos Santos. Thanks for any help.

Sorry, no ruins near Cabo. When we went to LaPaz we took the eastern route going north and the western route coming back just to see some different scenery. And it is very different on each side of the Baja peninsula. You'll pass through Todos Santos on your way back if you take that route and you could see whether or not you'd really wanted to spend more time there.

On your way to or from Todos Santos, you want to stop at "Art & Beer" at Km 69. It is off the road on the ocean and some very wonderful and unique people own this place. The food is devine, and the drinks...well, make sure someone else is driving. Everything is fresh...the fruit is squeezed for all drinks and they are enormous. Bring cash!!
