Roll over part of my annual SO?

I have our annual week reserved at WKORVN during Thanksgiving, but it is looking like we will only be using 5 days of the week's worth due to sky high airfare on the leg coming home. We are going to add a weeks worth of time at another resort at the beginning of the trip for a total of 12 days in Maui.
Can I roll over the SO for the 2 days somehow? Any other tips?

Not unless you cancel your 7 night reservation and rebook it as 5 nights - in which case you will lose your deeded view and will have to make a Staroption reservation which may or may not be available. It’s risky.

When you say you have your annual reserved, did you make a reservation for 7 days during the home resort priority period? If so then you wouldn't have any SOs involved that you could roll over, even if you only used 5 of those nights and then left early. If you made the 5-night reservation with SOs 8 months or less before check-in, then you would have SOs remaining and could bank them by the deadline that applies to your owner benefit level, which could be June 30th, August 31st or October 31st.

You could cancel your seven day reservation and rebook five days, but that comes with an enormous risk; someone could be on a waiting list for that week (it is Thanksgiving), be assigned the week you cancelled, and there would be nothing left for you to rebook.
