i was reading the other thread posted this evening asing about Dyson vacuum cleaners and thought I’d start one about robot vacuum/mop combos.

We’ve had an iRobot Roomba i7+ vacuum for 4 years and a Braava Jet M6 mop for about 3 years. DW loves the vacuum but not the mop. It doesn’t do a very good job and leaves a lot of streaks. She rarely uses it. She now wants to try a combo and we've just started researching models. There is a very wide price range, from about $300 up to $2,000. Some of the best reviews I’ve read so far, are for the Roborock QRevo S, Eufy S1 Omni and the Ecovacs Deebot T30S. I’ve been surprised that iRobot may have fallen slightly behind some other brands since they birthed the product line several years ago. I also read a few reviews that said none of the combos do a good enough job that you can get rid of your individual vacuum and mop.

I’d love to hear from anyone who has a combo. What model do you have? How good is it at vacuuming and mopping? What are the pros/cons (vacuuming, mopping, mapping, maintenance, etc.) of your particular model? Do you think it is worth the cost? Do you still have your old robot vacuum and/or mop?

I am in the same situation as you. I would love to have one combined unit that takes less space. I do not find mine streaks like yours. I use the fabric pads that you reuse versus the disposable ones.

I honestly don’t know much about the mop. I’ve used the vacuum several times but DW handles the floors for the most part. It would be great to have one unit instead of 2. Or, even 3, since we also have a Dyson that we use for quick cleanups and on our sunroom floor which is slate tile and has sliding glass door tracks that divide it from the living room. It’s just a lot easier to grab the Dyson for it.
