Just got back this afternoon from spending a week there and will write the whole review later, but am not overly in love with the place. We emailed them back in October to see if we could check in a day earlier due to our plans the previous week and were confirmed in January for a room at €110. We got here Friday afternoon and they didn't have our reservation. They said the guy (who was the assistant general manager) was no longer at the resort and he didn't enter it into the system and would not honor the reservation. The only thing they had available was a bigger room for €250. What could we do; we were stranded in the middle of nowhere in Crete? We took the room and the front desk guy told me the general manager would talk with me the next day. Still waiting for that to happen which shows me exactly how he feels about the people who pay his salary.

On top of that, the II description is a bit off. I don't really blame II because I believe they just post what the resort gives them. II says there is an indoor and outdoor pool; the indoor pool is part of the spa and costs extra to use. II also says restaurant, however, there is only one buffet restaurant with specific hours. There are certain times throughout the day that you cannot get anything to eat or drink. The internet is worse than on the cruise ship. Other issues will be in the review in the Marketplace.

Aside from that, it is a very beautiful place and the rooms are OK. The food in the restaurant is good and not overly expensive. The restaurant staff is very nice, but the beach leaves a bit to be desired.

Of all the resorts we've exchanged into, this is one that we won't be coming back to this place again. You only have one chance to make a first impression, and they blew it.
